Title: Casual AZ Driver - Night Shift- Linehaul

Pay Rate: $30.50/hr + Overtime after 60 hours.

Shift: 6:00 PM start time, 12 plus hour shift. 1-2 shifts/month (Possible Vacation Coverage).

Location: Stittsville, ON

We are seeking experienced AZ Drivers for casual work to move Linehaul freight using A-Train trailers from Ottawa to Mississauga, ON & Ottawa to Rochester, NY. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to handle long-haul routes.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate A-train Trailers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Logs (ELDs) and Daily Trip Reports.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues to dispatch.
• Adhere to all company policies, government transportation regulations, and safety standards.
• Identify and report potential hazards or safety concerns while on duty.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), WHMIS, and other required safety training.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Licensed AZ driver.
• Minimum 2 years Canadian experience is required.
• Experience moving freight with A-train trailers would be an asset.
• FAST card registered (or willing to do so).
• Clean criminal record check (mandatory).
• Clean Abstract and CVOR (mandatory).
