Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Infrastructure Operations Branch in an Acting Senior Analyst - Team Lead role responsible for the Power Platform Service for Part 1 and 3.

As the Senior Analyst - Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing coaching and assistance to other team members, administer and monitoring and adjusting day-to-day operations to ensure that service standards are met, as well as performing daily functions.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical leadership and direction
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical architecture principles, standards, frameworks, and strategies
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and mentoring to technical analyst resources
  • Monitor overall performance of the IT environment and make recommendations for improvement
  • Respond to incidents, requests for service and support, and potentially coordinate resolution with internal or external resources
  • Act as a senior technical resource and coordinator for various IT-related projects and initiatives
  • Document and maintain current systems, processes, and procedures
  • Working closely with other team and directly with clients for needs and cost assesssments to ensure the requirements for their solutions are properly sized and recommended system requirements are met.
  • Deploy solutions for custom built application and flows
  • Maintain Data Loss Prevention policies
  • Review capacities and licensing requirements
  • Manage the Power Platform Community of Practice
  • Maintain, monitor and review the Power Platform CoE (Centre of Excellence)
  • Provide regular insights on Power Platform usage and adoption

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of five (5) years progressive work experience OR a relevant two (2) year diploma and a minimum of nine (7) years IT experience of which two (2) of those years in the last four (4) years were related to administrating or developing in Power Platform.

Candidates being considered must have experience in designing, implementation and ongoing management of enterprise solutions in cloud infrastructures.

Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered, or the required years of experience may be increased.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Supervisor or leadership experience
  • Software or Web developer experience
  • Experience administering M365, Azure, Entra ID or Dynamics 365
  • Experience with technical implementation of client/server and three-tiered custom applications, and infrastructure management and monitoring software
  • Cloud integration of Private and Public Clouds – Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Project coordination of various Infrastructure technology solutions

SPECIAL/OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Some weekday evening and Saturday morning work hours may also be required. Some travel may be required therefore candidates must possess a valid New Brunswick driver's license and have their own means of transportation.

Salary : $65,936- $ 92,092 annually – Pay Band 5 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
