Assumption Life is looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Sales Force Compensation Agent within the Finance Department.
This position reports to the Manager, Sales Force Compensation Service. It requires basic accounting knowledge, an analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
This person plays an essential role in the distribution network by providing excellent customer service. They are responsible for regularly sorting emails and handling simple service requests. They also ensure the follow-up of permits and liability insurance certificates from the sales force.
Additionally, they support the compensation analyst with broker hiring and termination activities, and assist the team with daily tasks.
- Handling service requests and emails from the sales force ; regularly sorts the common email inbox;
- Processes requests for changes in personal information from the sales force, such as address changes and banking information updates;
- Responds to simple inquiries from the sales force regarding commissions, bonuses, contracts, and compensation structures, as well as other information requests;
- Regularly follows up with our sales intermediaries to obtain valid permits and liability insurance certificates and records them in our systems;
- Participates in the analysis and processing of broker hiring and termination requests.
- Supports the team with daily tasks.
Excellent ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in French and English;
- College or university degree in business administration or a related field
- Ability to synthesize, analyze, and solve problems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience in insurance, compensation, and payroll are assets
