Salary range: $109,891.51 to $129,284.13 annually

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Principal, you are accountable for the planning, development, implementation, and supervision of non-academic areas of the campus. This includes financial administration systems and controls such as budgets, forecasts, expenditure control, revenue accounting, supplies and equipment procurement, internal audit and inventory control. You will also be accountable for infrastructure management, food services (including cafeteria), bookstore, and general administration. You will ensure that all policies, regulations, standards and procedures are consistent with those established for NSCC.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is an undergraduate degree in Business with an Accounting designation. An MBA in Finance or Accounting would be considered an asset.

  • You have a minimum of five years (full-time equivalent) of recent and progressive occupational experience in administration and/or finance, or recognized equivalencies with expertise in financial reporting and operations management. Your occupational experience includes supervising, managing or leading a team.

  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, computerized accounting and other business enterprise systems. Demonstrated proficiency as an end user in software programs such as PeopleSoft, Cognos, and SharePoint would be considered an asset.

  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience.

  • You have experience in training/facilitation preparation, delivery and evaluation.
