Salary:
CGCH42 (CAD $52.23 - CAD$57.88 per hour) which includes a negotiated wage adjustment.
The following Incentives may be applicable, can be combined and require a Return in Service Commitment:
- Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH)

About the Role:
Provides a full range of psychological services, including biopsychosocial assessments, test administration and interpretation, diagnosis, and intensive psychotherapy with children and adults. Provides consultation to Mental Health and Addiction Services staff and various care providers. Duties will be provided independently and as part of a team of mental health and addictions professionals. Provides leadership and support to various mental health promotion initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited university with a Masters? Degree in Psychology.
- A Masters? Degree in Clinical Psychology is preferred.
- License and registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Board of Examiners in Psychology is required.
- Candidates should have clinical experience in the provision of comprehensive psychological assessment, intervention techniques/strategies, and therapy to individuals, families, and groups.
- Experience working in an interdisciplinary community-based mental health setting would be an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of theoretical approaches and therapy pertaining to mental health is required.
- Effective teamwork, communication, and inter-professional skills are essential.
- A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
- Use of a private vehicle is a condition of employment.
