True North Salmon , a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada's Best Managed Companies Program, is seeking eager self-starting individuals to join our Wharf Crew with our Harvest Team based out of Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick .

The Role

Reporting to the Wharf Crew Supervisor, the duties of this job require the use of harvest vessel equipment and an understanding of proper fish handling to successfully offload fish from the vessel to the plant or trucks without compromising quality. This position is a continental shift, work schedule may vary depending on the arrival of the Harvest Vessel.

Wharf crew is also responsible for minor maintenance and cleaning of harvest equipment as required.

A successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Must hold, or be willing to obtain, confined space training upon hire
• A willingness to work flexible hours is a requirement of this position
• Preference will be given to applicants with wharf crew experience.
