About Us
Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NL Health Services) brings together five former separate health entities - Eastern Health, Central Health, Western Health, Labrador-Grenfell Health, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information. The creation of a provincial health authority was announced following recommendations from Health Accord NL.
NL Health Services is responsible for delivering health and community services to more than 510,550 people living in Newfoundland and Labrador and employs over 22,000 people.
Prerequisite Requirements
Applicants must apply and meet the school admission requirements for the Electroneurophysiology program at BCIT on their own merit. Entrance requirements and fees are outlined on BCIT's website. Please visit Electroneurophysiology, Diploma, Full-time (5810DIPMA) - BCIT. The deadline to apply for admission to the program is November 15, 2024
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance will be available in the form of a $10,000 bursary to help offset costs associated with the EEG program. A return-in-service agreement will be required, and the length will depend on the total amount of funding provided. The service obligation will begin once the applicant has successfully completed the certification exam and started working in the role.
If the prerequisite requirements are met, applicants will be assessed for financial support based on a combination of screening criteria such as a satisfactory record of work performance and attendance, academic grades and interview(s).
