About MPE:
MPE a division of Englobe is a professional engineering consulting firm that operates out of offices across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and British Columbia. We offer full-service, multi-disciplinary engineering in the irrigation, water resources, municipal, and building services sectors. Your Contribution
Your main responsibilities
- Perform general project engineering duties under the supervision of a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist;
- Develop and analyze various hydrology and hydraulic models;
- Prepare reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents;
- Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties;
- Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met;
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Your Profile
What makes you unique
- Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited University, specialization in water resources and experience with various water resources design software such as HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS; knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS will be considered an additional asset;
- Registered or eligible for registration with PEO;
- Show an aptitude for general construction methods;
- Class G Drivers License and personal vehicle out-of-town work;
- Self-motivated with good leadership, project and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
