Responsibilities

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure and Environment, you will:

  • Provide technical support as well as administration and coordination of various initiatives through the Facilities Management Department. The role requires technical skills in sustainability, report writing, and administrative support for a wide range of projects.
  • Perform research, data compilation and evaluation, and reporting using Microsoft applications (primarily Word and Excel).
Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a college diploma in building science, health and safety, environmental sciences, or other relevant disciplines.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in the Facilities Management sector.
  • Experience with compiling technical reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Specific experience that would be considered an asset to this role includes:
  • managing multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines.
  • preparing strategic reports and promotional materials.
  • collection of building data relating to environmental performance (energy consumption, water consumption, waste, etc.).
  • completion of waste audits.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and e-mail.
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience.
