Job Details:
The Group Setup Agent is responsible for issuing new group insurance policies and making post-sale modifications and additions to policy guarantees. This role involves processing information from the pricing department to make necessary updates in the administrative system, preparing contracts and brochures manually, enrolling new employees, preparing administrative kits for clients, validating contracts and endorsements, and managing the issuing team's email inbox.
- Manually prepare contracts and brochures based on templates for new group policies.
- Make required updates to the administrative system (BMS) for new policies and existing groups.
- Manage the issuing team's email inbox, handling queries and making necessary adjustments.
- Validate contracts, endorsements, or modifications prepared by colleagues.
- Prepare administrative kits for clients with new policies.
- Enroll new employees upon the activation of a new policy.
- Basic knowledge of group insurance and the benefits offered.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF for document formatting.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel to complete team procedures.
- Superior communication skills (written and oral, English and French).
- Ability to draft contractual clauses and make template modifications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify discrepancies in benefits to be issued in the administrative system, contract, and brochure.
