We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Rewind Technician in Saint John, NB
The Key Responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing large AC & DC electric rotating equipment with random or form wound stators, rotors or armatures
- Test repair motors to ensure proper repair and performance
- Troubleshoot and find root cause on failed equipment
- On the job training will be provided
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Mechanical or electrical background with knowledge of AC and DC electric motors
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- Must be able to understand and use test equipment and instruments required to perform preliminary, intermediate, and final tests.
- Knowledge of other electro-mechanical rotating equipment, including pumps, would be considered an asset
