Responsibilities

What you'll be doing...

The Admissions Systems Coordinator oversees the management of numerous systems that support the Admissions process, including:

  • PeopleSoft Admissions modules
  • Online Application platform,
  • Scanning technology with integration to PeopleSoft
  • Application Centre
  • LaMPSS portal for the administration of sponsored students

The Admissions Systems Coordinator merges these technologies with business process, trains staff on their use, develops documentation, troubleshoots, creates metrics for performance, and acts as a liaison between Admissions and internal and external functional and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • You have a minimum of two (2) years of recent and related occupational experience in data management environment.
  • Occupational experience that includes database and scanning software would be considered an asset.
  • Advanced training and experience in a student information software such as PeopleSoft would be considered an asset.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail,
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work
  • Experience supporting/providing service to students and prospective students would be considered an asset
