Assumption Life is looking for a qualified individual to join its Group Administration team as a Customer Experience Agent. This person is responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients, administrators and brokers by telephone and email. The service provided by this role includes answering questions by claimants (clients) or by plan administrators and/or brokers.
- Respond to emails that are assigned to him/her on a daily basis. These requests include adding employees to the system, terminations, adding dependents and sending out health statements.
- Manage identification cards with our suppliers and mail them to clients.
- Process claims: analyze files, prepare correspondence (French and English) and issue cheques.
- Provide exceptional customer service and an empathetic approach to answering questions from clients, administrators or brokers. (Examples of calls: questions on type of coverage, reason for claim refusal, billing, etc.)
- Produce and prepare various administrative reports and correspondence for the department.
- Bilingual - French and English - good written and oral communication;
- A post-secondary degree in office administration or management, and/or equivalent;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel);
- 2 years' experience in customer service or telephone service roles;
- Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills, empathy and tact in order to establish positive relationships with clients and brokers;
- Good attention to detail;
- Excellent sense of autonomy and diplomacy;
