Personal Care Attendant
Casual employment, Part Time leading to Full Time
Location: St. Anthony

The purpose of this position is to provide care for residents at Shirley's Haven, and is responsible for ensuring a safe environment. Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job.

Security and Safety:

" Criminal Record Check
" Immunization Records
" Tuberculosis Test
" Must provide a First Aid Certificate

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities:

" Repetitive tasks
" Standing for extended periods
" Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking

Security and Safety:

" Serve meal trays and feed patients
" Make beds and maintain patients rooms
" Transport patients between care facilities

Specific Skills:

" Answer call signals
" Administer first aid in emergency situations
" Accompany patients on outside recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort

Salary:

" $14.00 per hour

Hours of Work:

" 44 to 80 hours bi-weekly, Variable shifts which includes on call
