FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
The Faculty of Engineering consists of five Departments delivering seven undergraduate programs accredited by Engineers Canada: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Software Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering is also actively engaged in research that is sponsored by external granting agencies and industrial contracts.

YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Dean, the Partnerships and Communications Coordinator provides close administrative support and leadership to the Dean of Engineering in managing projects of importance to the Faculty and the University.
- Act as a representative for the University of New Brunswick and the Faculty of Engineering.
- Develop partnerships in Canada with external clients that support Co-op, experiential learning, and research.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners in developing value propositions that align with the academic renewal plan of the Faculty of Engineering, which includes linking partnerships to Co-op, to the undergraduate design stream, to the undergraduate capstone design course, to innovation and design projects in course-based masters programs and to research.
- Work with the UNB Strategic Partnerships and UNB marketing teams, to develop and implement standardized partner onboarding materials to drive engagement.
- Research current and potential partners and identify opportunities for Co-op and experiential learning that includes client-driven design and innovation projects for graduate and undergraduate programs.
- Identify and source partnership opportunities through follow-up, cold calls, emails, and client visits.
- Collaborate with University administrators, Department Chairs, faculty members, students, and UNB marketing to align academic renewal with new and existing partner relationships.
- Negotiate agreements with partners, in alignment with UNB policies and guidelines, where appropriate,
- Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners.
- Deploy other strategic initiatives as assigned by the Dean of Engineering or designate.
- Prepare reports that may require investigation, literature review, and compilation of quantitative data for internal and external stakeholders.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A University Degree in a related field.
- 3 years of experience in strategic partnership engagement, co-op development, B2B relationship development, or a related field.
