Your Contribution

As a Civil Designer, you will work in collaboration with the Civil Team

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Prepare and develop the concept, presentation, detailed and tender ready design of various civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including corridors and surfaces.
  • Develop construction quantity and cost estimates, complete with required calculations and evaluations.
  • Perform constructability review of projects.
  • Analyze data and report on findings.
  • Maintain and progress with current industry standards.
  • Responsible to advance and understand project requirements related to current development standards, specifications, and guidelines.
  • Maintaining and building client relations.
  • Meet project budget and deadlines.
  • Participate in project and client meetings.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules

Your Profile

  • Strong experience in municipal/civil infrastructure design.
  • Civil Engineer with a diploma from an accredited university
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be licensed, or eligible for registration with PEGNB
  • Previous experience performing site inspection of municipal, transportation, and private engineering projects would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
  • Experience in site development.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years relevant experience post-education.
  • Comfortable in expressing new ideas or strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Desire to grow and accept challenges.
  • Ability to focus and work on multiple projects.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment to accomplish common goals.
  • Ability to provide mentorship to junior staff.
  • Be motivated by your success and assist in motivating others.
  • The following skills will be considered an asset: Proposal writing, Report writing, and Modelling.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
