PLATO has offices on or near Indigenous communities across Canada, in Fredericton, Miramichi, Sault Ste Marie, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Victoria.
Our company is growing rapidly, and so is our team in Kamloops! We are seeking a Senior Consultant | Senior Tester with strong API skills to join our on-site team at our client office. Preference will be given to Indigenous applicants and people with experience working with candidates of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit backgrounds, as well as those living in or willing to relocate to Kamloops.
- Write test plans
- Derive requirements
- Execute tests
- Document and triage bugs
- Review test cases
- Review test results
- Define data requirements
- Identify gaps between business/technical requirements and testing plan
- Provide support to the sales team by aiding in the development of technical testing details for use in proposals, statements of work, etc.
Introduce strategies, new QA processes to clients
- Computer Science or Engineering Degree
- ISTQB Foundations Level OR BBST Foundations Level
- 5 - 8 years' experience
- Minimum of 3 projects/roles
- 2 industry verticals
- Proficient in API testing
- Database experience for validating testing results (constructing SQL queries)
- Experience with JIRA, QTest
