Retail Pricing Specialist

Thinking strategically the Pricing Analyst will work with data from multiple sources to determine and set competitive prices, from both a retail and promotional standpoint, that will maximize both sales volume and profitability. Working in conjunction with the purchasing team you will be responsible to determine like product matches for pricing comparison across multiple competitors and use the tools at your disposal to gather and analyze that data to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends. If you imagine sitting at a desk all day looking at graphs and determining the best price points for products, think again, interaction with other employees is a vital part of the job. As you effectively communicate relevant findings and data to various process owners across the company, you will help shape the price perception of the company in the consumer market.
Responsibilities:

• Analyze competitive market data to identify trends and opportunities to optimize sales and profitability.
• Ensure that prices and specific programs conform to the corporate pricing strategy.
• Development measurement tools to identify trends and performance.
• Perform margin and pricing analysis to support business initiatives.
• Proactively monitor the results of pricing decisions to determine whether re-evaluation is needed or not.
• Work collaboratively across departments to communicate and implement pricing strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Business would be considered an asset
• 5 years of retail industry experience
• Advanced Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills
• Experience with Microsoft D365 ERP system is considered an asset.
