GEMTEC is on the move and looking for entrepreneurs just like us to fuel our expansion in Ontario. Our presence in Ontario is expanding and we are searching for various roles throughout the GTA and Barrie area including a Civil Technician within our Materials Testing Division. We have created a challenging and inviting workplace, where individuals are provided the opportunity to gain experience and advance their careers without limits. You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team of Engineers and Scientists focused on Geotechnical, Environmental, and Materials related projects.
- Laboratory testing of aggregates, soil, concrete, and asphalt.
- Field testing and sampling of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt.
- Various office, laboratory, and field tasks related to materials testing.
- Other duties as required.
- College Level Diploma is considered an asset.
- Experience with materials testing and inspection.
- Experience working with computer assisted drafting (CAD) and surveying is considered an asset.
- Experience working in civil construction is considered an asset
Position:
- Providing proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is a condition of employment. Exceptions to this requirement will be considered on a case-by-case basis in relation to local health guidelines and/or client requirements/regulations.
- Must have a valid driver's license
