Under the general supervision of the Director, The Language Centre, the Registration Clerk is responsible for administering the program admission and registration for the Language Centre students. Acting as the initial point of contact for prospective students; providing admission and registration support to new student and agents in advance of their arrival. Provides registration, administrative and account support to current students; accepting payments, processing refunds, and monitoring student account balances to identify and address delinquencies, providing registration/enrolment letters, assisting in the processing of health insurance claims, creating and sending out FAQs, assisting in organizing and delivering of webinars.
Group affiliation for this position is with the Bargaining Unit 79. The position is evaluated at a Group 5 (salary range $37,623 - 43,182). The Collective Agreement can be viewed here.

To be the successful Registration Clerk you will have completed High School plus a 1 (one) year community college business diploma and a minimum of 1 (one) year of directly related work experience with demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills. Additional requirements include strong customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with bookkeeping and cash accounting is an asset, and experience in Banner is considered an asset.
