The Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) - Campus de Dieppe is looking for expressions of interest for casual employment as an instructor of related courses in Lather Installer - Blocks release training.
JOB DESCRIPTION: As a member of the teaching staff and under the supervision of the Department Head, the successful candidate will be expected to teach the following related courses: Basic Mathematics, Science and Plan Reading in the Lather Installer Apprenticeship Block training. This includes but is not limited to :
- Prepare, develop and teach courses related to the curriculum;
- Mentoring students and planning hands-on activities;
- Collaborate with peers in her areas of expertise;
- Assume various tasks related to the promotion of the program;
- Evaluating student progress while providing follow-up and guidance to students.
- Blocks (1 and 2) are offered in English.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2021: Any candidate not currently employed by CCNB or in the New Brunswick Public Service will need to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, or a valid medical certificate exempting them from the vaccine before a job offer can be made.
REQUIREMENTS: Post-secondary education relevant to the courses to be taught and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the areas of interest. A Red Seal Lather Installer is an asset.
Must be a resident and have a valid work permit.
Other Important Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English and understanding of French. Candidates must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and have a good performance and attendance record. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also required.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Workplace: Campus de Dieppe
Status: Casual full time, starting December 6, 2021 to March 25, 2022
Salary: According to the current collective agreement for the group Éducation (enseignants) (From $28.40 to $43.67 per hour, depending on training and experience)
