YARD/DETAILER PERSON

We are the Maritimes' only John Deere Dealership with 15 locations in NB, PEI and NS. 
We are looking for a Yard / Detailer Person in Bloomfield, PEI.

Must have a clean, valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following :

  • Cleaning & washing of new & used tractors, etc
  • Occasional equipment deliveries
  • Forklift operation
  • Occasional maintenance of the grounds
  • Occasional Loading and unloading trucks
  • Friendly interaction with customers
  • Must have a basic working knowledge of computers

 The candidate will work closely with the Store and Service Managers and have the ability to deal with the demands of a busy workplace.

Qualifications

Ideally we are looking for an individual with completion of high school.

The story of Green Diamond Equipment

Green Diamond Equipment is a Maritime owned and operated equipment dealer powered by Industry leading brands and passionate people, now with 15 locations across 3 provinces.

 We are proud to have been selling equipment to homeowners, farmers, landscapers, construction companies, golf course owners etc. for over twelve years as Green Diamond Equipment.

 We have grown quite a bit since 2007. From Green Diamond Equipment starting out as a joint venture between PEI Farm Equipment and Planter's Equipment, with three New Brunswick stores in Moncton, Sussex and Woodstock. In 2008, the three companies merged adding the Bloomfield and Summerside, PEI locations, as well as Halifax, Kentville and Middleton, Nova Scotia.

In our efforts to continue to respond to our customer needs, we opened a new store in Grand Falls, New Brunswick in 2010. Following this was the acquisition of MacLeod's in 2012 which lead us to grow the Nova Scotia market adding in Truro, New Glasgow and Antigonish. In 2013 we expanded further by opening a new store in Miramichi, New Brunswick.

In November of 2016, Reddin Equipment of Stratford, PEI merged ownership with Green Diamond Equipment. With this merger our product offering brought us into into the world of Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) www.greendiamondpowersports.ca adding New and pre-owned Ski-Doo snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft and Can-Am product lines. Having the BRP brand within the walls of our John Deere dealership in Stratford, we saw the opportunity to expand it first into our Green Diamond Equipment Bloomfield PEI branch as a service location and then into the newly built Summerside, PEI branch to better service the whole Island. Shortly after, in February of 2019 we acquired a BRP dealership in Drummond, NB and in September of 2019 another is Sydney, NS.

Our steady growth across the Maritime provinces shows our ongoing commitment to our customers, our team and the iconic brands of John Deere and Bombardier Recreational Products. We have the right people, in the right roles, working with clear direction and focusing on continuous improvement.
