Acadia seeks a Digital Communications Coordinator in the Office of Advancement to fill an 18-month term contract to deliver creative and tactical planning, implementation, project management and evaluation of integrated digital communications strategies, plans and initiatives to support the Office of Advancement's goals.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing a digital content strategy, ensuring the creation of compelling content, accuracy and a dynamic user experience while managing the day-to-day web content creation and maintenance.
In addition, the incumbent will manage social media planning and execution in partnership with Advancement colleagues and partners to integrate and leverage content across a range of online channels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- We are seeking a candidate who has experience in writing, editing and developing creative digital and print communications for multiple audiences along with strong knowledge of social media trends and platforms, analytics and current/emerging technology.
- Completion of a recognized post-secondary program in communications, marketing, journalism, media studies or public relations is required.
- Applicants must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite, and with content management systems (Contao/Word Press).
- The role will require someone who has strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, who is effective in their work, flexible to changing demands and works collaboratively, fostering teamwork.
- Experience working with alumni/donors or membership-based audiences using an e-mail marketing platform such as Constant Contact will be considered an asset.
