Sales Representative

Our client is an Atlantic based leader in end to end product and service-based solutions for their commercial customers in the food industry. With recent changes in the way we all do business, they have undergone a significant business transformation and are now looking to add to their growing Sales team to support their clients in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Representative will become a Business Partner by anticipating their customer needs and take a proactive approach with sales within their assigned regional territory. The successful individual will develop, maintain and grow new and existing customer base by promoting the company's full range of products, with emphasis on expanding customer portfolio and increasing sales volume. You would balance your efforts in identifying and acting on sales and new growth opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

Experience with new business prospecting and customer relationship management is essential, as is exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Your approach needs to be proactive and detailed orientated, with the ability to work independently. Your mindset needs to be analytical and be target driven. You should also be able to demonstrate efficient territory management, priority setting and be able to use company resources effectively. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of SAP is ideal. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required for travel.
