GEMTEC has openings for Civil Technicians in our Fredericton office location for the 2021 construction season.

The successful candidates will have experience in general construction activities, materials testing and inspection services.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• College Level Diploma is considered an asset
• Experience with materials testing and inspection
• Experience working with computer assisted drafting (CAD) and surveying is considered an asset
• Experience working in civil construction is considered an asset

Main Duties:

• Laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete and asphalt
• Field testing and sampling of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt
• Other duties as required

• The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and will be responsible to have a vehicle for work
