Creating a Sense of Home: We are home to 108 residents. At Windsor Elms Village there are three distinct neighbourhoods. Each neighbourhood has four houses of nine residents. With such a diverse group of residents, you will find each house has its own character. At WEV, we strive to create flexibility that mirrors life in the communities and homes our residents have known.

Continuing Care Assistants (CCA):
We are seeking CCAs to fill Casual and Part Time positions in our home located in Falmouth, NS (just 40 minutes from Halifax)

As a CCA you will be providing care and services to meet the needs of our residents. As a CCA within our team, you will be creating a positive and pleasant environment in the Resident's home by working collaboratively and respectfully with all care partners including residents, co-workers, families, physicians, community and professional agencies. In everything you do, you will strive to enhance and strengthen the groups and individuals who live and work at the Windsor Elms Village.

As an important member of our team -- working with all care partners - you do what it takes to enrich relationships and well-being for residents.


  • Nova Scotia Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) or current enrollment as an LPN or RN student from a recognized institution
  • Good communication skills
  • Education and experience in long-term care, geriatrics, and dementia is preferred
  • Standard First Aid and CPR certification
  • Computer literate
