CIVIL TECHNICIANS (Summer Students 2020)

GEMTEC currently has summer student positions for Civil Technicians in several of our New Brunswick locations. The successful candidates will gain experience in general construction activities, materials testing and inspection services.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Registered for or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in civil, geological, environmental sciences, or environmental engineering
- Experience with materials testing and inspection is considered an asset
- Prior work experience in engineering consulting is considered an asset
Main Duties:
- Laboratory testing of aggregates, soil, concrete and asphalt
- Field testing and sampling of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt
- Other duties as required
Position:
- Summer Student 2020

- The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and will be responsible to have a vehicle for work
