Service Writer

We are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Service Writer at our Napan (Miramichi), NB location. there will also be general administration duties.This position will be 30 hours per week with a possibility of full-time during peak periods. All benefits are included.

Purpose:
Assist the Service Manager and Store Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department's operation within the dealership. Bilingualism is a major asset.
Responsibilities (Service Writer):

• Process all warranty claims
• Check tech's time punches daily
• Screen service calls and direct calls as needed
• Process internal work orders
• Order and apply parts for work orders
• Communicate with Deere on Parts and/or Service Issues when required

Responsibilities (Administration):

• Code, copy and courier payables weekly
• Settle Cash and Petty Cash Daily
• Complete bank deposits weekly
• Process payments on customers' accounts & complete goods sales
• Prepare Ropack & Parts Return BOL
• Support other departments when required
• Plan, organize & execute events
• Assist with developing and executing new store displays
• Preparing payroll bi-weekly
• Completed expense reports
• Collecting and submitting images, videos and other information to Marketing department for Social Media
• Assist with Inventory Control
• Order Office supplies

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of accounting practices
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Knowledge of office procedures
• General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
