We are the Maritimes' John Deere Dealership with 15 locations to serve you. We are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Sales Manager at our Kentville, NS location.

Purpose:
Manages sales functions including coaching and developing sales professionals. Responsible for all sales metrics for the dealership. Hires, retains, and effectively engages department personnel.
Responsibilities:

• Manages and coaches sales professionals to implement the sales process
• Creates development plans for sales professionals which includes identifying training needs
• Develops and executes the Sales Department metrics and goals
• Ensures the sales document process is established and followed by all sales team members
• Identifies and executes best practices throughout the sales department
• Works with Parts and Service Managers or the Corporate Aftermarket Manager to promote customer satisfaction
• Manages sales department equipment including vehicles and sales office equipment
• May manage used equipment processes and inventory

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• 3+ years equipment sales experience
• Ability to teach and coach sales professionals on selling techniques and sales processes
• Experience leading others
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
• Ability to use Deere sales computer applications and tools
• Ability to use software applications such as Microsoft Office and Deere systems
• Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
