A Maintenance Cleaner performs regular building cleaning and other related duties to help the building function efficiently. The ideal candidate should have good work ethic.
The position requires a person capable of working comfortably as part of a Custodian team and in tandem with others at the facility as well as working responsibly on their own.
Must be able to work conscientiously, be self motivated, and be able to schedule and complete numerous tasks with minimum oversight.
This position requires an attention to detail as well as physical demands and the applicant should be comfortable with both.
Custodian Duties - Perform hands-on basic maintenance tasks. - Organize and maintain tools. - Work independently and with other Facilities Department employees on a day-to-day basis performing regular building upkeep.
Requirements - Valid State photo ID -no Custodian or building maintenance experience

TASKS:
- (Buff, Strip, Wax, Vacuum Cleaning)
-Dust and polish surfaces thoroughly including windowsills, baseboards, furniture, mirrors, partitions, tiles, and fixtures
-Thoroughly vacuum, sweep mop and otherwise clean floors, carpets, area rugs, and runners
-Thoroughly scour, wash and clean all wash basins, sinks, toilet seats, toilet bowls, and urinals
-Empty trash receptacles-Spot clean walls
-Replacing bulbs and other miscellaneous equipment
-Squeegee clean all glass interior and exterior
-Damp wipe and polish all mirrors, shelving, dispensers, fixtures and piping
-Fill all paper and soap dispensers
-Clean and properly put away working materials upon completion of work, ensuring storage areas are locked and secure when not in use
-Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require more intensive cleaning to your site supervisor or manager
-All other job duties as requested/required.
