Company Overview

Pacific Cove Properties is a BC-owned and operated property management and development company providing rental accommodation to almost 3,000 families and individuals in communities throughout British Columbia, including Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan.

Job Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join the on-site team at Fig, a new purpose-built rental community in Vancouver's Riley Park neighbourhood.

Located between Main and Fraser, Fig offers a collection of studio to three-bedroom rental homes and townhomes. Learn more about the community at https://rentatfig.com/.

Working closely with the Community Manager, you will support daily building operations and help create a positive experience for residents. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to be part of a new community from the beginning, combining resident service, tenancy administration, and building coordination.

Both live-in and live-out arrangements may be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to resident questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating matters to the Community Manager when needed.
  • Support move-ins, move-outs, and suite turnovers, helping ensure homes are ready for incoming residents.
  • Receive and track maintenance requests and coordinate access for staff and contractors.
  • Assist with property inspections and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns.
  • Support rent collection, tenancy documentation, and the maintenance of accurate resident records.
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks and provide updates to the Community Manager.
  • Work with the on-site team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community.
Required Skillsets
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and sound judgment when responding to resident or building concerns.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an on-site team.
  • Proficiency with email and electronic records; experience with property management software is an asset.
Education and Experience
  • Experience in residential property management, building operations, hospitality, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Experience supporting resident relations, tenancy administration, or building operations is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act is an asset.
