Service Writer / Sales Counter

Roadrunners is seeking a Service Writer / Sales Counter Representative to support independent truck owners in a busy heavy-duty truck repair environment. Reporting to the Shop Manager, this role combines customer service, service advising, parts sales, and tire sales while managing the full estimate-to-approval process. Wage will be determined based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise independent truck owners on service and repair needs.
• Prepare repair estimates independently and support technician-generated estimates.
• Obtain customer approvals and manage the full estimate-to-approval process.
• Sell parts and tires to meet customer and service department needs.
• Coordinate customer communication throughout the repair process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in heavy-duty service advising.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems.
• Experience with work order management.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
