Job Overview

We are seeking experienced and reliable AZ Truck Drivers for local deliveries and transportation throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The ideal candidates must have a valid AZ driver's licence, experience operating a 53-foot dry van, and a strong commitment to safe and professional driving practices.

Drivers will operate an automatic day-cab Freightliner Cascadia and will be responsible for transporting non-hazardous loads on local routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic day-cab Freightliner Cascadia safely and efficiently.
• Drive a 53-foot dry van trailer on local routes throughout the GTA.
• Transport non-hazardous freight in accordance with company procedures and road safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure cargo is transported safely and delivered on schedule.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and required transportation documentation.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws, transportation regulations, and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and report any vehicle issues or delays promptly.

Requirements

• Valid AZ driver's license in Ontario.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• A letter of experience from a previous insurance provider or a claims experience letter demonstrating at least 3 years of experience is required.
• Experience operating 53-foot dry van trailers.
• Experience driving automatic day-cab trucks is preferred.
• Clean driving record and a strong commitment to road safety.
• Ability to work independently.
