About the Opportunity

S2F Global Resources is building a spare board of experienced oil and gas Operators for short-term operations coverage across client sites. This is a good fit for seasoned operators, including those who are semi-retired, who want flexible work that uses their experience without a full-time commitment.

When assignments come up, we contact operators on our spare board and staff each role based on who's available. You choose which assignments you take.

Types of assignments

• Turnaround support
• Operations coverage
• Project support
• Holiday and vacation coverage
• Sick leave coverage

Assignments are short to medium term and are often needed on short notice.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of operations experience in oil and gas.
• 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate (steam ticket) required.
• Valid, up-to-date safety tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, and WHMIS.
• Able to take assignments on short notice.
• Willing to complete a drug and alcohol test before site access.

Nice to have

• Broad oil and gas experience across a range of processes and facilities
• Fall Protection and Confined Space tickets

Working arrangement

You can work through your own company as an independent contractor, or as an employee of S2F Global Resources. Whichever you prefer.
