Facility Operator

Overview

S2F Global is hiring an experienced Facility Operator for a natural gas processing facility in the Dawson Creek area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a local operator who wants steady work close to home.

• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation, working days and nights.
• Long-term, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor gas processing equipment, including compressors, separators, dehydration, and refrigeration systems.
• Monitor SCADA and control system trends, troubleshoot operating issues, and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Complete routine field inspections and equipment checks to identify maintenance needs and prevent downtime.
• Isolate and prepare equipment for maintenance, following lockout/tagout and permit procedures.
• Coordinate work orders with maintenance teams and contractors.
• Keep accurate operating logs, production records, and regulatory documentation.
• Support plant start-ups, shutdowns, and turnarounds.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of gas processing or facility operations experience.
• Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certificate.
• Residence in Dawson Creek or the surrounding Peace region.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Current H2S Alive, First Aid, and WHMIS.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Nice to Have:

• 3rd Class Power Engineering certificate, or steam hours in progress.
• Experience with refrigeration and dehydration processes.
• Start-up, shutdown, or turnaround experience.
