Heavy Truck Parts Outside Salesperson

Local heavy truck and trailer repair facility is looking to expand and immediately requires an experienced Heavy Truck Parts Outside Salesperson for full time employment. While previous truck and trailer dealership experience is preferred, strong automotive experience would be considered an asset as well.

· Develop and maintain a portfolio of current and target truck and trailer parts customers by providing accurate, courteous and professional service in person and also by telephone and electronic communications.

• Establish a strong relationship with all stakeholders at each client's business.
• Work as part of a team within the environment
• Develop a product expertise for truck and trailer parts
• Visit all assigned customers
• Prospect new customers
• Review special orders, bulk orders, and special pricing with manager
• Coordinate with other departments. as necessary
• Complete call reports, time sheets, drivers logs, and expense reports.
• Attend and maintain training
• Act as public relations liaison for the dealership
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Assist parts front counter answering phones if required
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education & Qualifications:

· 3 years of applicable customer service experience in a similar role

2 years of automotive OR heavy truck parts experience (within the past 5 years

Minimum Grade 12 education required with math and English skills essential

· Parts sales experience an asset

· Exceptional customer service and communication skills

· Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office are required

· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
