Snowflake Data Modeler

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

• 5+ years Data Modeling and Database Design experience.
• 3+ years Property & Casualty Insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance business processes and enterprise data structures.

Responsibilities:

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Create models for Policy, Claims, Billing, Customer, Broker, Risk, Coverage, and Reinsurance domains.
• Develop dimensional models for reporting and analytics.
• Maintain source-to-target mappings, metadata, and data dictionaries.
• Support database optimization, data quality, governance, audit, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with Business, Architecture, Engineering, and Analytics teams.

Nice to Have:

• Azure Data Services knowledge.
• Data Warehousing/Data Lake experience, and familiarity with MDM and Data Governance frameworks.

Skills:

• Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Modeling.
• ER Modeling and Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake).
• Snowflake, Database Design, Normalization, Denormalization.
• Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality.
• ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Visio.
