Senior RD Chemist

The Senior RD Chemist is responsible for developing innovative cosmetic and personal care formulations from concept through commercialization. This role works closely with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products that align with market trends and business objectives. Immediate Hire: Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Location: Scarborough, ON Responsibilities: - Develop and reformulate cosmetic and personal care products. - Lead product development projects from concept to commercialization. - Research market trends and identify new product opportunities. - Conduct laboratory testing, product evaluations, and stability studies. - Support scale-up, manufacturing, and contract manufacturing activities. - Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field. - 5+ years of cosmetic or personal care formulation experience. - Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and formulation technologies. - Experience with product scale-up and manufacturing support. - Understanding of regulatory and quality requirements for cosmetic products. - Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
