Counter Server

As a Counter Server at The Loose Moose & Antler Room, you will provide friendly, efficient service while taking guest orders, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring pizzas are served to our quality standards. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process guest payments and handle cash and electronic transactions.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with responsible alcohol service standards.
• Serve guests through the order window when the Antler Room is open.
• Reheat pizza slices and finish pizzas with parmesan, oil, and other required toppings or garnishes.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of beverages, food products, and service supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, service areas, and equipment throughout each shift.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, counter service, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Valid Smart Serve certification is required.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling payments and operating POS systems.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
