We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Deckhands to work aboard harvest vessels. This is an ongoing assignment for candidates who are comfortable working in a marine environment, travelling between locations, and adapting to a variable work schedule. Transportation and hotel accommodations will be provided for crew members as required.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations aboard harvest vessels.
• Support harvesting activities and other assigned duties.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with handling equipment, loading, unloading, and other physical tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and vessel crew.
• Travel between Blacks Harbour, Deer Island, and Nova Scotia as required.

Requirements

• Availability to start as soon as possible.
• Willingness to work aboard harvest vessels.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts based on operational needs.
• Willingness to travel between locations as required.
• Ability to complete a required background check.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and a safety-conscious attitude.
• A current, valid passport is considered an asset.
• Previous experience in marine operations, fishing, harvesting, or deckhand work may be considered an asset.
