What You'll Do

• Build smart, efficient freight plans that reduce empty miles and boost delivery capacity.
• Match the right loads to the right trucks—balancing destinations, deadlines, and fleet availability like a pro.
• Keep a pulse on multiple moving parts: driver hours, loading sequences, mileage, service windows—you name it.
• Proactively find capacity to move freight and keep things flowing.
• Tackle problem shipments with urgency and precision.
• Keep stakeholders informed by monitoring shipment status and flagging issues before they become problems.
• Act as the go-to contact for both internal teams and external clients—making sure everyone's in the loop and on the same page.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CITT) or education in logistics, supply chain, or transportation is an asset.
• A strong understanding of Atlantic Canada geography is a bonus!

You'll Excel If You Are

• A multitasking master with excellent time management skills.
• A self-starter who thrives on making smart, data-driven decisions.
• A natural problem-solver who can think fast and negotiate effectively.
• Adaptable and calm under pressure—even when priorities shift or timelines tighten.

Tech You Know

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools—especially Excel and Outlook.
• Familiarity with TruckMate or similar TMS software? That's a plus.
