Class 3 with air Truck Driver - Lumber Deliveries

We are seeking a Class 3 Truck Driver with an air brake endorsement to deliver lumber across local city and regional routes. Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, the driver will operate flatbed and boom trucks, support scheduled contractor, retail customer, job-site, and mixed commercial and residential deliveries, and use a range of loading and unloading methods, including driver-operated forklifts, cranes or booms, and customer-operated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled lumber deliveries for contractors, retail customers, and job sites.
• Operate flatbed trucks and boom trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and handle lumber using forklifts, cranes, booms, and other approved methods.
• Secure lumber loads in compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Plan and navigate local city and regional delivery routes.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Provide professional customer service while maintaining safe commercial driving practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial truck-driving experience.
• Valid Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement.
• Experience with defensive driving and air brake systems.
• Knowledge of load securement and pre-trip inspections.
• Experience with route navigation and delivery documentation.
• Ability to perform manual handling and operate delivery equipment.
• Strong customer service and time-management skills.
