Screw Machine Setter/Operator Single Spindle

Experienced Single Spindle Brown and Sharpe machinist.

We are looking for an experienced Automatic Screw Machine Setter / Operator with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on screw machine experience.

Candidates with extensive experience setting up and operating automatic screw machines are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of machining..

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, adjusting and running multiple machines to maintain quality and production.

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience setting up and operating automatic screw machines.

Previous Brown and Sharpe experience is an asset but is not required.

Must have experience performing complete machine setups and job changeovers.

Must be capable of both setting up and running production machines.

Strong understanding of mechanical machining principles.

Ability to work independently and determine what needs to be addressed first to keep multiple machines operating.

Strong understanding of quality requirements in a precision machining environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced screw machine setter/operator.

This is not an entry-level machine operator position. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of screw machine experience.
