Job Title: Distribution Centre Supervisor
Location: Burnside Dartmouth NS (on-site 100%)

Why This Role
Job involves managing team: lead hands and warehouse staff The supervisor reports to the Warehouse Manager- 20-21 staff, some are part-time
- 2 team leads (hands-on) and the rest are warehouse staff (divided by zone, depending on skill/tickets).
The Role:
- Shifts are Sunday to Thursday, evenings
- Start on Sundays at 2pm and Monday to Thursday at 3pm (1 hour before staff arrive)
- On Sunday, shipping hours are 3pm to 11:30pm, so the supervisor needs to be there an hour before to prepare.
- From Monday to Thursday, the shipping hours are 4pm-12:30pm
- Sundays Start at 2pm, Monday-Thursday start at 3pm
What You'll Bring
- Tickets are helpful but not required (forklift, walkie, Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED, etc).
- The supervisor is on the warehouse floor the whole shift. No real office space unless there's a special reason for privacy.
- Use the computer in the warehouse, so they must have good computer skills, like MS Suite.
- Previous WMS experience. Here they use WMS (warehouse management system) “Solochain”, which can be easily taught

- Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day, even though this role gets an annual salary (so it's extra!)
- A full shift is typically 9 hours per day but can vary depending on business needs
