About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Mississauga, is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC engravers, routers, and laser machines to produce precision elevator fixture panels.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC engravers, routers, and laser machines.
Read and interpret CAD schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
Load materials, configure machines, and monitor production cycles.
Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools, including micrometers and Vernier calipers.
Perform engraving, routing, infilling, and cleaning operations.
Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as required.
Identify quality issues and report non-conforming products.
Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and participate in 5S activities.

Qualifications

College diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent CNC experience.
At least 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Direct CNC machine operating and setup experience.
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Experience using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and Vernier calipers.
Strong mechanical aptitude, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
