About Us

We are marketing chefs with various backgrounds and skill sets that deliver the full set of marketing services typically found at an agency. To deliver our work and provide the type of service our clients deserve, we believe in the balance of five key functions within our kitchen:

Craft. Deep skill and long-term mastery are of utmost importance. Continually sharpening our approach and learning new techniques is a must.

Clients. Our relationships are everything. We equate this to providing excellent service.

Colleagues. Respect, empathy, and mutual help are table stakes. People support one another and share in success.

Company. We build systems, processes, and rewards that enable people to do their best work and grow professionally.

Core. Personal growth and balance matter. We regularly reflect on individual goals and progress across craft, client work, teammates, and company contribution.

We pair this structure with a practical mindset:

If you can. See something broken? Fix it. Someone needs help? Help. It's life.

Operate from opportunity. And not fear. Change is. Ask questions. It's okay to be uncomfortable, but if you see something new or different, speak up.

Everyone eats together. No one can do it alone. We need to support and equally share in the success.

Never stop growing. Be curious, full stop.

Role Overview

HMDE embeds senior marketing talent with high-growth technology clients. We're hiring a CRM QA Specialist with a hands-on email build background to review customer communications before they reach users. Email comes first, with push and in-app messaging alongside it.

You've built emails yourself, so you know where they break. You'll own QA requests from intake to sign-off, catch errors fast, explain fixes in builder terms, and help set priorities across a busy queue from multiple teams. If you take pride in shipping clean work on time and can run a ticket without hand-holding, this is the role.

What You'll Be Doing

QA email builds against the brief and design, covering layout, copy, links, personalization, and required legal disclosures.

Render-test emails across clients and devices using Litmus, Email on Acid, Inbox Monster, or similar, and diagnose the cause of each issue, not just the symptom.

Check push and in-app messages against spec before launch.

Validate campaign setup in the client's notification platform against the brief.

Own each QA ticket from start to finish and escalate only real blockers.

Manage QA intake and set priorities across requests from multiple teams, flagging conflicts early.

Keep QA checklists current and log recurring issues so builders can fix them upstream.

What We Look For in You

3+ years building production emails across products and teams in an enterprise ESP such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Iterable. This is required.

Experience working with various stakeholders, including CRM, product, design, and legal, to set priorities and manage competing deadlines.

Strong HTML and CSS for email, including responsive layouts, email client quirks, and accessibility basics.

QA experience on email, either in a dedicated QA role or as part of your own build process.

Hands-on experience with email render-testing tools.

Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with a high level of attention to detail.

Clear written communication for documenting issues and fixes.

Nice to Haves

Experience building or reviewing push notifications and in-app messages.

Prior experience in fintech, crypto, or another regulated industry.

Engagement Details

Contract role through Homemade Pasta Marketing Inc. (HMDE).

Company Description

Homemade Pasta Marketing Inc. (HMDE) is an AI-native marketing agency. We run performance marketing programs for brands that care about measurement, rigor, and results, and we place experienced specialists directly inside client teams to do hands-on work at scale.

We're marketing chefs from a range of backgrounds, and the agency is built around five things we balance in our kitchen:

Craft. Deep skill and long-term mastery come first.
Clients. Our relationships are everything, so we treat service as part of the work.
Colleagues. Respect, empathy, and mutual help are table stakes.
Company. We build systems and processes that let people do their best work and grow professionally.
Core. Personal growth and balance matter, and we make time to reflect on both.

We use AI tools as a force multiplier in everyday work, not as a novelty. Our people spend less time on repetitive tasks and more on the parts of the job that need judgment. We stay lean, we fix things when we see them broken, and we share in the success together.

If you take pride in doing the work right and want to keep getting better at it, you'll fit right in.
