CNC Milling Machinist – 5 Axis (Afternoon Shift) Location: Mississauga, ON

About the Opportunity Fuze HR Solutions is currently recruiting an experienced 5-Axis CNC Milling Machinist for a well-established precision manufacturing company in Mississauga, ON.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist who enjoys working on complex, high-precision components and takes pride in producing quality work.

We are looking for someone with strong hands-on 5-axis CNC milling experience who is confident completing machine setups, troubleshooting machining issues and maintaining tight tolerances.
What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture complex precision components.
• Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, work offsets and tool offsets.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Load, verify and adjust CNC programs as required.
• Perform first-off inspections and make necessary machining adjustments.
• Monitor machining operations to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.
• Troubleshoot tooling, machining and setup issues to minimize downtime.
• Inspect components using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers and gauges.
• Work closely with programming, quality and production teams to ensure components meet customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on 5-axis CNC milling experience is required.
• Experience independently setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, speeds, feeds and workholding.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience machining complex components to tight tolerances.
• Comfortable performing first-off and in-process inspections.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous precision machining or job shop experience is an asset.
• Mastercam or other CAD/CAM software experience is an asset.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently.
• Must be available to work a straight afternoon shift.

Compensation & Benefits

• $30.00–$38.00/hour, depending on experience.
