Job Details:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.
You will start on a day shift which is Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. There is also a 4x10 afternoon shift which you may be required to cover down the line.

- Set up and operate CNC machines, milling machines, and other machining equipment.
- Programming on Mastercam
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Perform machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding to produce parts according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and finishing tasks.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- At least 5 years as a CNC Machinist
- At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer on Mastercam
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding is preferred.
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, TOSNUC and Okuma controls is an asset.
- Ability to operate forklifts considered an asset (certification preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity in operating Overhead/Jib Cranes an asset
