What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all golf course maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement agronomic programs for turf, including mowing, fertilization, irrigation, aeration, topdressing, and pest management.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and surrounding areas.
  • Supervise seasonal maintenance staff.
  • Manage irrigation systems including repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Monitor turf health, soil conditions, weather, and course playability, adjusting maintenance practices as required.
  • Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and storage of turf equipment and machinery.
  • Evaluate course conditions and recommend improvements to enhance turf quality, playability, and long-term course health.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For
  • Previous experience as a Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or in a comparable turf-management role.
  • Strong knowledge of golf course construction, agronomy, turfgrass management, irrigation, and maintenance practices.
  • Experience leading and developing a seasonal ground or turf maintenance team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with management.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Relevant turf management, horticulture, agronomy, or golf course management education.
  • Pesticide applicator certification.
