Press Operator

Requirements & Overview:

• Operate the stamping press coil feeder & automated transfer operation.
• Perform tooling setup & machine changeovers.
• Conducting preventative maintenance on press & scrap systems as scheduled.
• Measuring parts using CMM & gauging as required.
• Visual inspection of parts for good quality & report any non-conformances to Quality representative or immediate Area Leader.
• Oversee load set & transfer system to ensure smooth flow of part production & early detection of potential issues including mis-hits.
• Prepare & communicate various reports as required or requested.
• Report safety hazards & conduct pre-start inspections as required.
